Introduction
A little bit about myself.
Hi! I’m Ebony, a friendly and supportive tutor who’s passionate about helping students feel confident in their learning and work with them to discover how they learn best. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Archaeology and Ancient History from Monash University, where I cultivated my essay writing and critical thinking skills, earning a university award for the best Honours thesis in my field. I adore all kinds of history and teach Ancient History at all levels, as well as English and Humanities (mostly Years 7–10). I aim to tailor each session to suit the student’s needs. Whether your child is catching up, keeping up, or looking to stretch themselves, I hope to create a space where learning feels engaging, clear, and encouraging.

A bit more about me and what I do in my spare time!
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gouache painting, learning new languages, and crocheting! I’m also part of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), where I help teach and take part in hands-on history activities like historical crafts and historical fencing; my personal favourites are calligraphy and viking wire weaving!
