This policy outlines what happens in the event of a cancellation.
At Erudite Tuition, there are no set contracts, prepayments or hidden fees and you’re not locked into any number of lessons per term/month etc.
However, please understand that last minute cancellations due cause unnecessary stress and wasted time for our tutors who have spent a lot of time preparing for the lesson.
We understand that there are some situations where it is unavoidable.
We’re happy to cancel in these situations, with no penalties applied.
To make sure that you have enough time to let us know in advance, we send many reminder emails and SMS straight to your mobile to keep you informed
If you are going away for an extended period of time, please let both us (by emailing [email protected]) and your tutor know at least 2 weeks in advance. 2 weeks will allow us to organize a replacement student to fill the void for your tutor in your absence. Likewise, if your tutor is going away for more than 2 weeks, they will let us know and we will organize a replacement tutor for your child.
If you no longer require tuition from your tutor, please let us know (by emailing [email protected]) 2 weeks ahead of your proposed final session. We can advise your tutor on your behalf.
These requests exist to ensure your tutor is looked after and sessions aren’t regularly cancelled at the last minute. For your tutor, the session begins way before they arrive at your door; they will spend time before the session preparing and planning to maximize the value they can bring to your child, so by providing adequate notice of changes and cancellations, they will feel valued and appreciated.
