NSW Year 11 and 12
HSC tutoring that keeps the course, the exam, and the student in view
Erudite matches senior students with tutors who understand HSC subject demands, assessment pressure, and the need for practical progress before final exams arrive.
HSC subject pathways
Start with the HSC course, then narrow the lesson plan.
HSC support works best when the tutor understands the exact subject level and the student's current assessment pressure. These subject pathways help parents and students start in the right place.
Not sure which page fits?
Book a trial and Erudite will help confirm the course, topic, and tutor match before regular lessons continue.
HSC English
Text response, modules, essays, creative work, and close reading under exam conditions.
HSC Mathematics
Course-specific support from Standard Mathematics through Extension 2.
HSC Sciences
Concept mastery, practical application, data questions, and past-paper technique.
Humanities and commerce
Writing, source analysis, case studies, extended responses, and syllabus command.
How tutoring is shaped
A four-part HSC tutoring strategy, adjusted for the student.
HSC tutoring should show parents what happens after a tutor is matched: which gaps come first, how practice is used, and how the plan changes as assessments get closer.
- 1Subject masteryStudents learn the syllabus, exam structure, assessment criteria, and the content gaps that need attention first.
- 2Critical thinkingLessons build the analytical and problem-solving habits needed for unfamiliar questions, not just memorised answers.
- 3Study strategyTutors shape study plans around the student's school calendar, strengths, weak spots, and assessment deadlines.
- 4Feedback loopPractice tasks, feedback, and exam-style checkpoints show what is improving and what needs another pass.

Personalised HSC tutoring
Course expertise matters, but the student still sets the pace.
HSC tutoring should not become a generic exam-cram script. Erudite tutors help students understand the subject, practise exam conditions, and build independent study habits that can survive the pressure of Year 12.
- Subject-specific tutors
- HSC tutors are matched for course knowledge and the way the student learns best.
- Adaptive lesson pace
- Lessons can slow down for fundamentals or push into extension technique when a student is ready.
- Exam preparation focus
- Past papers, timed sections, and marking criteria become part of the weekly rhythm before exams are close.
- Wellbeing-aware support
- Planning, confidence, and workload management sit alongside content so students can keep making progress.
HSC questions
Practical answers before families commit.
The first lesson should answer fit questions as much as academic ones: subject match, lesson format, and whether the tutor can help the student move forward.
Do you tutor all HSC subjects?
Erudite supports core HSC English, Mathematics, Science, humanities, and commerce subjects. If a subject is not listed, book a trial lesson and the team can confirm whether a suitable tutor is available.
Can tutoring focus on a school assessment instead of the final exam?
Yes. HSC tutoring can focus on the next assessment, a weak module, past-paper practice, exam technique, or longer-term course confidence. The tutor adjusts the plan around the student's current school priorities.
Is the first lesson locked into an ongoing plan?
No. The trial lesson is designed to test fit first. Families can continue only if the tutor, subject focus, and lesson format are right for the student.
Do you offer online and in-home HSC tutoring?
Yes. Availability depends on the student's location, subject, and schedule. Erudite can match for in-home or online lessons where suitable.

If you need a tutor for your kids, Erudite Tuition is great! I've used them for almost 2years as i felt due to covid my kids education went down hill:-( I love that are able to come to my house and tutor both of my kids @ the same time(yr 3 & yr 5 students) my kids love their tutor Deveka and the company itself is really good. I've never had an issue with either one. I've recommended this company to friends and family and will continue to do so. Great work guys. Thanks heaps😁

Jared was fantastic. Patient, dedicated, engaging. We really felt that he was as invested in our daughter doing well on her OC test as we are. She loved him. We couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you.
