Finding the right tutor, made easy.

How we match your child with the right tutor.

We learn what your child needs, match for subject fit and personality, arrange a first lesson, then keep checking that the tutoring is still helping.

The matching process

Every step should reduce uncertainty, not add pressure.

The order matters. We don't ask families to commit before the student profile, tutor match, first lesson, and next steps are set out.

  1. 01

    Start

    Submit your details

Submit an enquiry through the booking button or give us a call. We start with the essentials: year level, subject, location or online preference, and the kind of support your child needs.

  2. 02

    Profile

    Let's talk

During the first call, we build a student profile around current results, goals, school context, learning style, confidence, and interests. We'll also discuss any specific preferences you might have.

  3. 03

    Match

    We match a tutor

We look for tutors who match the student's subject needs, availability, personality, and learning goals instead of sending the first available option.

  4. 04

    Trial

    Trial lesson arranged

Your first lesson is arranged around your family's availability and the tutor's schedule. Before the lesson, the tutor makes a welcome call so the first session starts prepared.

  5. 05

    Choice

    Select your tutor

After the first lesson, decide whether the tutor feels right. If the fit is not there, we will help find another tutor and the first lesson is covered by the satisfaction guarantee.

  6. 06

    Rhythm

    Structured and ad hoc learning

Once the match is right, lessons settle into a regular rhythm. Tutors balance schoolwork, targeted practice, revision, and confidence-building around your child's needs.

  7. 07

    Care

    Regular check-ins

Erudite checks in so families are not left guessing. The aim is to keep communication useful and make sure lessons are still solving the right problem.

  8. 08

    Progress

    Progress milestones

Long-term goals are broken into smaller milestones so progress is visible: confidence, assessment readiness, stronger study habits, and clearer understanding.

What shapes the match

A good tutor match is more than subject knowledge.

Academic fit

Subject strength, year level, syllabus familiarity, and the kind of explanation your child needs.

Student connection

Personality, confidence, motivation, learning style, and whether the tutor can make asking for help feel normal.

Practical fit

Availability, lesson format, location, family routine, and whether the setup can stay consistent across the term.

After the first lesson

The trial lesson gives families a real decision, not a sales deadline.

Some students feel the right connection straight away. Others need a different explanation style, a different schedule, or more time to settle. The process leaves room for that judgement.

Your options stay open

Continue with the tutor

If the connection feels right, lessons move into a regular rhythm with agreed goals and ongoing adjustment.

Refine the plan

If the subject focus, pace, or lesson format needs changing, we adjust the plan before small issues become frustrating.

Try a different match

If the tutor is not the right fit, the first lesson is covered by the satisfaction guarantee and we help find another option.

If you need a tutor for your kids, Erudite Tuition is great! I've used them for almost 2years as i felt due to covid my kids education went down hill:-( I love that are able to come to my house and tutor both of my kids @ the same time(yr 3 & yr 5 students) my kids love their tutor Deveka and the company itself is really good. I've never had an issue with either one. I've recommended this company to friends and family and will continue to do so. Great work guys. Thanks heaps😁

Jerry was outstanding! Found my younger sister a primary school tutor asap and we have been very pleased with her ever since. They really do a good job of finding a tutor which matches the students learning style. 15/10!

Jared was fantastic. Patient, dedicated, engaging. We really felt that he was as invested in our daughter doing well on her OC test as we are. She loved him. We couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you.
