First lesson paid
The first tutor is the right match.
You continue with the tutor
The trial becomes your first paid lesson because you are happy to continue with that tutor.
Do not pay for the wrong first tutor.
Your first Erudite lesson is protected by our satisfaction guarantee. If the tutor is not the right match, you do not pay for that unsuitable trial and we will help find someone better suited.
If the tutor works well and you choose to continue, the trial becomes your first paid lesson. There is no long-term contract and no need to decide before your child has met the tutor.
Example outcomes
The guarantee is not a hidden fee or a sales condition. After the first lesson, you decide whether to continue with the tutor or ask us to adjust the match without charging for the unsuitable trial.
The first tutor is the right match.
You continue with the tutor
The trial becomes your first paid lesson because you are happy to continue with that tutor.
It takes more than one attempt to find the right tutor.
You only pay once the match works
If the first two tutor trials are not right, we keep refining the match. When the third tutor works and you continue, that lesson is billed.
You decide tutoring is not right for now.
You can stop without paying
If the trial shows tutoring is not what your family needs right now, there is no payment required for that first unsuitable lesson.
How it works
The trial is designed to answer the question parents need answered: can this tutor help my child learn?
Tell us the year level, subject, lesson format, goals, and any tutor preferences before we match.
The tutor works with your child and gets a practical sense of learning style, confidence, and knowledge gaps.
If the fit is right, you continue and the trial is billed as your first lesson.
If the tutor is not right, the lesson is on us and we help arrange a better match.
Plain English terms
The guarantee is for the first tutor-fit decision. It gives your family room to try a private tutoring lesson, give honest feedback, and continue only when the match is worth keeping.
The short version
You pay for the trial when you choose to continue with that tutor. If the match is not right, the unsuitable first lesson is on us.
The guarantee reduces the risk of starting while we find the first tutor your family is happy to continue with.
Specific feedback about teaching style, personality, subject level, or schedule helps us adjust the next match.
If you are happy with the tutor and choose to continue regular lessons, the trial lesson is payable.
Once you have chosen to continue with a tutor, future lessons follow Erudite's pricing and cancellation terms.

If you need a tutor for your kids, Erudite Tuition is great! I've used them for almost 2years as i felt due to covid my kids education went down hill:-( I love that are able to come to my house and tutor both of my kids @ the same time(yr 3 & yr 5 students) my kids love their tutor Deveka and the company itself is really good. I've never had an issue with either one. I've recommended this company to friends and family and will continue to do so. Great work guys. Thanks heaps๐

Jerry was outstanding! Found my younger sister a primary school tutor asap and we have been very pleased with her ever since. They really do a good job of finding a tutor which matches the students learning style. 15/10!

Jared was fantastic. Patient, dedicated, engaging. We really felt that he was as invested in our daughter doing well on her OC test as we are. She loved him. We couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you.
