Introduction
A little bit about myself.
I am Prahlad, a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and extensive teaching experience. Currently pursuing a Psychology and Economics dual degree at the University of Melbourne, I have excelled academically, scoring 98% in CBSE Class 12, a 1570 on the SAT, and earning an AP Scholar Award. With 600+ hours of tutoring experience, including six months as a full-time teacher, I specialize in English, Mathematics (up to Class 8), Psychology, History, Economics, and Public Speaking. As the founder of an educational NGO (NOSFAM Foundation) and a debate academy, I have trained students who have won international debate championships at Harvard, Stanford, and Georgetown. I am passionate about personalized learning, helping students build confidence, and developing critical thinking skills to ensure they not only excel academically but also thrive beyond the classroom.
Hobbies
A bit more about me and what I do in my spare time!
In my spare time, I am deeply involved in volunteering through NOSFAM Foundation, the educational NGO I founded, where I work to provide learning opportunities to underprivileged children. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to make a tangible impact on students’ education and growth. I am also passionate about debate, having competed internationally and ranked 2nd in the world for Public Forum Debate. I run my own debate academy, where I coach students in critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking, helping them succeed in global competitions. Beyond academics, I enjoy writing and have published two fiction books, selling over 250 copies. Sports are another major part of my life—I play basketball, soccer, and cricket, and I have represented my district in cricket back in India. Whether it’s through education, writing, or sports, I love taking on challenges, pushing my limits, and staying actively engaged in both learning and teaching.
