Introduction
A little bit about myself.
Hi! I'm Sophie, a 1st year science student with a passion for encouraging people to love learning, embrace challenges, and to take steps outside of their comfort zone. Using a relatable, supportive and energetic approach, my goal is to not only help people understand content, apply feedback and achieve academic results they’re proud of, but also to help them truly enjoy the learning process. I'm currently studying a graduate package degree in Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry at the University of Melbourne, with a major in psychology, largely driven by my experience tutoring neurodivergent students with special learning needs. I have been tutoring and lecturing in many diverse environments for 2 years, including as a student lecturer for Siena College in 2024 and as a private academic tutor.

A bit more about me and what I do in my spare time!
As an avid follower of responsible fashion and design, I love to find new ways to up-cycle and repurpose textiles. In my spare time, you may find me sitting at the sewing machine for hours on end, or researching new and upcoming designers in my area. I'm also a lover of all things music - I enjoy listening to a wide variety of genres.
