Many students either avoid pursuing or drop STEM subjects because they can be challenging to conceptualise. The key here is to give it time and never give up on actually wanting to understand; science is logic at its core and it will eventually make sense. I am a Pharmacy student at UNSW as well as a Junior Science/ HSC tutor who is passionate about science communication and inspiring a genuine interest in studying Chemistry, Biology and/or Physics among highschoolers. I endeavor to provide the most intuitive explanations to students' queries until they are satisfied with what they have learnt.
