Introduction
A little bit about myself.
My name is Yuan, I'm 19 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of International Relations at the Australian National University. I completed VCE in 2024 in Victoria and moved to Canberra in 2025 for study, before which I lived in Melbourne. I enjoy teaching and learning about new things, especially in Humanities subjects such as History, Law and Politics. I can't wait to get to know new students and help them develop a passion for learning and achieve their best results and goals. My approach focuses on building strong foundational knowledge, and using that to help students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the content. My goal is to shape lesson structures to fit to each individual learning style. I believe in open communication with parents and will value working together with parents to support their children's education.

A bit more about me and what I do in my spare time!
In my spare time I enjoy reading - especially historical fiction and non-fiction - as well as do some creative writing and listen to lots of music. I enjoy going on internet research dives, often involving history and politics. I also like swim, as well as to play recreational tennis and used to play competitive basketball while in Melbourne.
