Varshini P.

Hi! My name is Varshini Prakash and I'm a penultimate Bachelor of Laws(Hons)/Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics student at Monash University. I have a deep understanding of English, Maths and Science meaning I can explain complex concepts in a way that is easy for my students to grasp. Additionally, since I have excellent communication skills, I will be able to articulate said concepts to my students and listen actively to students' concerns so I can cater to their particular needs. Lastly, I am kind, patient, and empathetic; allowing me to connect well with my students so that when they face challenges, I can cater to them with the necessary encouragement and support. With regards to my teaching experience - I have been tutoring with Erudite Tuition for almost 3 years now. Whilst in school, I often volunteered to assist younger children with their understanding in English, Maths and Science during my time in school. Additionally, I was a peer mentor for my own classmates and younger classmates and helped them in their pursuit of understanding English and Maths.

Beyond lessons

What Varshini enjoys outside lessons

Outside of my studies, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, and recording music. I also love reading and writing, particularly on topics like personal growth, law, and philosophy. Staying active is important to me, whether through badminton, yoga, or time at the gym. I co-host a Tamil-English podcast that helps connect students and communities in Melbourne, and I value mindfulness practices such as meditation and chanting. Creative expression, cultural connection, and continuous learning are central to how I spend my spare time.
